FAQ:
NEWBORN SESSIONS

When is the best time to book a newborn session?
The ideal time is within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are sleepiest and curl naturally. I recommend booking during pregnancy to secure a spot, we’ll lock in a flexible date once your baby arrives.
What if my baby is already older than 2 weeks?
No problem at all!
Older newborns are still beautiful to photograph. Sessions may be a little more awake and relaxed, focusing on natural moments, details, and connection.
Where do the sessions take place?
Newborn sessions are held in the comfort of your own home, using natural light. This keeps things calm, familiar, and stress-free for both baby and parents.
How long does a newborn session take?
Sessions typically run for 1.5–2 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, settling, and cuddles. There’s no rush, baby always sets the pace.
What should we wear?
Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully (creams, whites, beige, soft greys). I’ll send a full styling guide to help you feel confident and comfortable choosing outfits.
Do parents and siblings need to be included?
That’s completely up to you.
Parents and siblings are always welcome, some of the most meaningful images are those quiet, real moments together.
Do you provide props or wraps?
I bring a small selection of simple, timeless wraps if needed, but the focus is on natural moments rather than heavy props or posed setups.
