FAQ: FAMILY SESSIONS
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s completely okay and totally normal! I don’t expect children to sit still or “perform.” I follow their lead, encourage play and connection, and capture real moments as they unfold. Some of the best photos come from the in-between moments.
How long is a family session?
Sessions usually run for 45–60 minutes. This allows plenty of time for kids to warm up, have a play, and for me to capture natural moments without rushing.
Where do sessions take place?
Family sessions can take place outdoors at a beautiful location, in your home, or at a location we choose together. I’m always happy to suggest spots that work well with light and little ones.
What should we wear?
Neutral, earthy tones photograph beautifully, think creams, beige, soft browns, denim, muted greens or pastels. Try to avoid bold logos, busy patterns or neon colours. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in.
What if the weather is bad?
If we’re shooting outdoors and the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can reschedule
